## What exactly is Confirm Supplier?

A verification and due diligence service for Chinese suppliers. Before you pay a company in China, we check in the official Chinese registries that it exists, that it is operational and that it carries no lawsuits, debts or risk signals. You receive a clear report with documented sources and an actionable conclusion.

## Why do I need to verify my Chinese supplier?

Because most fraud is discovered once the money has already left. According to PwC's 2022 global survey, 46% of the organisations surveyed experienced fraud or economic crime within a two year period. A €250 report costs a tiny fraction of what a lost order can cost you.

## Is it legal to verify a Chinese company?

Yes. We work exclusively with legally accessible information: official Chinese state registries such as GSXT, business platforms such as Qichacha and Tianyancha, and public court archives. This is standard practice in commercial due diligence. We carry out no covert surveillance and use no irregularly obtained data.

## How does the verification work?

You send us the company name and we consult the official registries, comparing every data point with what the supplier has declared to you. For due diligence reports, our network of licensed lawyers in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hangzhou also accesses legal databases reserved for legal professionals. You receive the report with a clear risk level: low, medium or high.

## What do I need to send you to get started?

The name of the Chinese company, ideally in Chinese characters, and its USCC code if it appears on the invoice or the contract. Any document the supplier has given you also helps. The company name alone is enough to start.

## How much does it cost and how long does it take?

The China Simple Confirmation Report costs €250 + VAT and is delivered in 5 working days. The China Due Diligence Report costs €900 + VAT and is delivered in 3 to 5 working days. Express delivery is available with a surcharge, quoted case by case.

## Will my supplier know I am verifying them?

No. Desk reports are prepared from public registries and legal sources, without contacting the supplier. The only exception is the on site audit, which is always carried out with the supplier's knowledge.

## How are you different from verification agencies based in China?

We are a company established in Spain: you contract in your language, under Spanish jurisdiction and with a European invoice. Our lawyer network in China accesses legal databases that standard online tools do not show. And we process personal data in line with the GDPR, under the supervision of the AEPD.

## What happens if the report finds problems?

We tell you plainly: what we found, in which source and what level of risk it represents. The decision is always yours. The report gives you the basis to renegotiate terms, adjust the contract or find another supplier in time.

## How do you handle personal data?

Any personal data that may appear in a report, such as the names of shareholders or legal representatives, comes from official public registries and is processed in line with the GDPR under the legal basis of legitimate interest, article 6.1.f. We are a company registered in Spain, subject to the jurisdiction of the AEPD.
