## How we verify a Chinese supplier

We consult the official registries of the Chinese state, the leading business information platforms and the public court archives. When the case requires it, our lawyer network in China also accesses legal databases reserved for licensed professionals. We cross all the sources, compare the data with the information your supplier gave you and deliver a report with a clear conclusion.

## Our sources

### GSXT

The National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System. It is China's official business registry: incorporation, capital, legal representative and administrative sanctions.

### Qichacha and Tianyancha

The two leading business information platforms in China. They aggregate registry data, corporate links, trademarks, licences and risk signals.

### China Judgments Online

The public repository of Chinese court rulings. It lets us identify lawsuits, convictions and enforcement files affecting the supplier.

### AMAC

The registry of the Asset Management Association of China, relevant when the supplier or its shareholders operate in the financial or investment sector.

### Reserved legal databases

We work with licensed lawyers in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hangzhou who access legal databases available only to legal professionals in China. This is what separates our reports from a simple online lookup: information that standard tools do not show, verified by local legal experts.

## The process, step by step

1. We receive your supplier's details. You send us the company name, its USCC code if you have it and any document the supplier has given you.
2. We consult the official registries. We verify the legal identity of the company in the official sources and compare every data point with what the supplier declares.
3. We extend to legal sources when needed. For due diligence reports, our lawyer network in China consults reserved legal databases and court archives.
4. We analyse and assess the risk. We cross all the information, flag the inconsistencies and assign a risk level: low, medium or high.
5. We deliver your report. You receive a professional report with documented sources, an executive summary and an actionable conclusion.

## Note on personal data

All our reports are prepared from official and publicly accessible sources. Any personal data that may appear, such as the names of shareholders or legal representatives, comes from official public registries and is processed in line with the GDPR under the legal basis of legitimate interest, article 6.1.f. We are a company registered in Spain, subject to the jurisdiction of the AEPD.
